Seven Acres Frequently Asked Questions

Our family wishes to express its deep appreciation for the timeless care and attention you and your staff gave our mother. During her 9 ½ year residency at Seven Acres she became part of your family just as much as she was ours. What higher compliment can I say about Seven Acres?
M.C.

There are so many questions you may have as you or your loved one decides to move to a nursing home facility. As you consider Seven Acres Jewish Senior Care Services, the following information may help guide your decision.

What is the application process to enter Seven Acres? Is there a long waiting list?

In order for Seven Acres to properly assess our ability to care for a resident, we require recent medical information from the resident’s doctor and/or hospitalization records no more than 30 days old. In that way we can best determine which of our many levels of care would be appropriate. We also require financial information about the resident so a determination can be made as to what type of financial arrangements will be made.

In terms of waiting time for admission, please know that Seven Acres is very sensitive to oftentimes crisis situations and we do everything possible to admit residents quickly. Seven Acres maintains six levels of care, each having its own accommodation availability and waiting list. However, generally speaking residents can be admitted within 5-10 working days if all the required documentation is received.
