We want to express our deep appreciation for the excellent care your organization gave to my mother. The team on the Alzheimer’s Unit showed such kindness to Mother while she was there; and during those last few days, they did all they could to make our heavy burden a bit lighter. Seven Acres offers Hospice Services in partnership through a contractual agreement with Vitas Hospice Care Services. Our Hospice Services are designed to provide comfort and support to residents and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. The goal of hospice care is to improve the quality of a resident's last days by offering comfort and dignity. Hospice addresses all symptoms of a disease, with a special emphasis on controlling a patient's pain and discomfort. Hospice deals with the emotional, social and spiritual impact of the disease on the resident and his or her family and friends.
